for a bleak day


For a gloomy day outside, this simple leek on my window is such a sport! It really cheers me up.

    I cook with leeks.. never dawned on me to put one on my window sill... does it keep growing? or does a flower pop out? beautiful image...

    Thank you! This one had a spectacular crown…but it did end up in a baking dish. I would probably send roots, if I kept it longer!
